Dione Project respects your personal data and the privacy of these data is of our main priority and concern. As such we adhere to and follow all privacy and security rules and regulations imposed by GDPR.

The below outlines the details of privacy policy as reflected by the company “dione project”/Dionisia Dimakopoulou and the trade name “Dione Project”. References in the privacy policy to “Dione Project”, “we”, “our”, mean the above company is registered in Greece as aforementioned in the section “general terms”.
We monitor and control the methods that your personal data are collected and used by our company, respecting and valuing your personal data. We make all effort to protect them and allow you to have access to all your legal rights.
Our policy regulates both the personal data of visitors of our website as well the e-shop. Should you not agree with the said policies, you are free to exit and to withdraw from the website at any time.

Your personal data such as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and gender might be provided to us upon accessing of our website: or your subscription to our e-mail service or presence to company related initiatives by use of specific online or offline forms. When you purchase something from our e-shop, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, telephone number and email address.

The email address that you provide to subscribe to email service and to register through online forms may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, invite you to various events, inform you about new product launches, special initiatives of our company and to send you our news. In addition, a visitor’s activity may be traced by using Google Analytics. Google Analytics is subject to the privacy policy of Google, Inc., which may be found on Google’s website. Such data is used to optimize our website experience for our visitors.  They do not include personally identifiable information such as name, contact information, or credit card numbers. Web server logs are retained on a temporary basis and then are deleted from our systems.

In order to perform any transaction and to place an order for the company’s products through the “” e-shop, you will be asked to provide personal data which are necessary for the transaction to be realized, such as your full name and surname, the address for the delivery of products, your phone number, your email address. In case you choose as a payment method to use your credit card, you will be asked to provide the card number, its expiry date as well as the 3-digit security code of your card. In case you also request an invoice to be issued you will be asked to provide your VAT number, your tax office as well as your occupation description. This information is necessary in order to be able to complete your order.

Only necessary data required for the transaction will be requested. With the use of the website, you provide your explicit consent to “dione project” to process the relevant personal data in order to fulfil the placed order and you declare that all the information given, are true and accurate.

Data are kept in our records as long as the transaction is in track. After the completion of the transaction and the period of time that is legally required for review or return of the goods, your data are kept securely stored after the process of ‘pseudonymization’

Your personal data may be processed so as to keep records of your interests and keep you updated relative to new products, offers, sales and relevant to our activities, news. We may also use them to personalize the user's experience and to allow us to deliver the content and product offerings in which you are most interested. Data also may be used to improve our website so as to better serve you, to reply best to your customer service requests or to execute promotional actions, contest, undergo survey or develop further site features. You may withdraw your consent from our newsletter and your consent to the use of your Personal Data for marketing, promotional products and/or services,(use the unsubscribe link) as indicated in the messages you have received.

We will respond within thirty (30) working days upon receiving your request. If we do not respond or our response is not considered by you to be satisfactory, you have the right to appeal to the Data Protection Authority and request an examination of our response or omission of our action.

In the event we receive a deletion request from you:

 (a) We will cease to use and make available your Personal Data (unless otherwise required or required by law).
 (b) We will delete all of your Personal Data from our databases other than those contained in emails, correspondence or other documents that we may hold in order to be able to prove the terms of our contractual relationship with you or as otherwise provided by the applicable legislation.
 (c) Taking into account the technology available and the cost of implementation, we will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to inform other data processors  to act on our behalf , as specifically mentioned above, that you have requested the deletion  by them (the executors processing) of any links to such data or copies or reproductions of such Personal Data.

Your personal data, after the completion of the purchase of any good, are securely transmitted on the internet using high- grade encryption. We are committed to taking appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage 

to personal data. The information that you provide to us will be held in our systems, which are located on our premises or those of an appointed third party. We may also allow access to your information by other third parties who act for us for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or for other purposes approved by you.

We will retain your personal data for as long as we need it in order to fulfill our purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or in order to comply with the law. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed
Our company has taken all the necessary technical measures and precautions to ensure the security and the appropriate use of your data. However, no technical measure for electronic storage is 100% secure. 
Our company shall process the above data in accordance with the GDPR (EU 2016/ 679) and the relevant national and EU legislation (i.e. Law 2472/1997).
Your personal data shall be disclosed to the relevant bank (i.e. the credit card number) and shall be DELETED from our database immediately after the completion of your order, thus ensuring a higher level of security.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then WIX stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.
